How can i sneak out with an alarm system?
Tonight I really want to go outside and toke it up but we have an alarm system that's loud and I have no idea how it's set up. I know how to turn it off but it makes a loud noise and even though my parents are heavy sleepers it might wake them up. I can't smoke inside because last time I did that my mom came in the next morning asking why my room smells like skunk. I even took all of the possible safety precautions like having the bathroom fan on and using a ''sploof'' and lots of air freshener. I would really appreciate any input on what I should do. Please no hate answers on pot.

How can I bypass the water fill stop on my high efficiency washer?
A year or so ago I bought a new "high efficiency" washer that uses less water than my old one. I HATE IT. HATE, HATE, HATE IT. Anyway, I am tired of not being able to rinse the fab soft cup in the washer water as it fills. My washer doesn't have a hole that activates it and causes it to fill with water, it uses two plates, like an alarm system that must make a circuit. How can I bypass that and make the washer fill when the lid's open?

How to answer why I left my former employer without badmouthing my former employer?
The company I left was an absolute fly-by-night outfit, family run. I worked there for 15 years. Most of the 15 or so people who came and went over the time that I worked there only lasted for about a year, and had major issues with the boss. I got along with the boss better than most, but I gradually realized that the problems really were with him and not with the disgruntled employees. I should also note that the company routinely violated L&I safety regulations and got in big trouble for one that they got caught on. I finally realized that I would be better off quitting (I found that working at the company actually gave me a bad reputation around town!)
I left on as good of terms as I possibly could, given that the boss is paranoid and delusional. That said, I recently had to spend some time with him for an unrelated function and while we didn't exactly pal around, he seemed to be amicable to me.
So I am applying for a new job and trying to figure out how to explain my departure from my former company without committing the sin of badmouthing my former employer. The reasons above are really the main reason I left, but the other reasons which I plan on using instead are:
#1 - My expertise and area of interest is with computers, networks, servers, and IT. Almost all our business was in this field but we lost 75% of our clients (through no fault of our own; one was absorbed by a larger company and we were no longer needed; and the other two hired on staff techs). My boss refocused the company on selling and installing security cameras and burgler alarm systems, which I had no interest in doing.
#2 - The other networks we supported (still about 25 of them) were not up to par as far as security and updates management (ie most didn't have central management for AV, updates, users were logging on as administrators, etc). I developed a plan to gradually get things up to par and was implementing it, but the boss was not on board (in fact he actively opposed it to some extent) because he wanted virus attacks and the like to happen in order to boost labor billing.
The job I am applying for would be managing IT for a school district, so there would not be the incentive to create work by sloppy security practices there like there was in my old job where we billed by the hour.
What do you think? Any suggestions, warnings?
I realize that some high end security systems would be part of the IT infrastructure, but the stuff they were pushing was low end consumer grade stuff - and to businesses, no less.
Steve D, I appreciate your input. To answer your question, this actually is what I said before but it didn't seem to satisfy the interviewer. And I can't really blame them I guess as it was a stupid move; the company is tanking, but the boss just can't see anything but security systems anymore. Like I said, he's nuts.
